hello from the philippines!
it is 955 pm on wednesday night and i'm at an internet cafe with my dad near the hotel we are staying at! it's day 4 i think and things have been going well! i am liking it a lot so far (but it's probably because we get to retreat at our 'hotel california' as ann and i call it by the end of the day). we can't fit in our parents' houses so we had to book a hotel. man, we tried to first book this room at villa amanda but once i saw two large roaches crawling where we'd be sleeping i was like no way we have to check out another place! i think my dad saw the fear and seriousness in my face (and although i felt so maarte about it in front of my cousins) we checked out the crown royal in balanga. Yes! It was perfect and we had enough room for all 4 of us to fit in it. i'll have to tell u this story in person.

anyways, i better go. many more stories to tell. i'll blog again in manila!
